Overview

Elevate is recruiting a Finance& Accounting Specialist join our Legal Operations team. As a Finance & Accounting Specialist, you will organize and maintain the financial records for Elevate customers.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Specifically, you will

Handle following process;

• New client/matter intake processes (data entry to practice management system, conflict checking)
• Handle queries related to invoices for various ebilling portal
• General ledger accounting
• Financial reporting
• Travel and Expense processing
• Accounts payable
• Billing and accounts receivable 
  
  

Experience

• Proven working experience of more than 5 years as a Finance Accounting Specialist.
• Experience with Microsoft Products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
• Knowledge of Accounting tools such as Serengiti, NetSuite, 3E and ActionStep etc.
• Knowledge of ebilling platforms such as CounselGo, Legal Tracker etc.
• Knowledge of Xero will be an added advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
• EBilling and Client matter intake
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
• Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal),excellent grammar, and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers.
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic and should be able to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment
• Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced ever-changing work environment
• Basic computer skills, Excel and MS Office
• Some experience with spreadsheets and automated accounting systems 
  
  

Qualifications

• B.Com - Commerce
• PG - MBA with Finance will be preferred.
