Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on accounts payable and receivable reconciliations
2. Collect, understand, process, verify and report accounting related-information to his/her vertical head
3. Work on the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports
4. Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company
5. Work on the verification of invoicing and follow up for payments
6. Assist other teams whenever required

Other requirements

1. Expertise in numbers and good math skills are very important

2. Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis

3. Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data in both statistical and narrative form

4. Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation

5. Should have good written and oral communication skills

6. Other skills - problem-solving, entering and verifying data

7. Good knowledge of MS Office, Power BI and accounting software would be an added advantage

8. Must be a team player and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on a new challenge
