About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on general accounting and maintain overall accounting policies and procedures and regular closure of books of accounts
2. Assist in day-to-day accounting, month-end closure, preparation & finalization of financial statements, and reconciliation of accounts monthly
3. Work on MIS reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
4. Handle the account receivables function and ensure low ageing, forecasting monthly/yearly cash budget and report to the management on variances over established budgets, and expense management for vendor payments
5. Work on statutory compliances and ensure a regulatory compliance
6. Work on internal control and identify and eliminate weaknesses in internal control and assist in internal and statutory audits

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. A B.Com degree is mandatory

2. Strong verbal and written communication skills

3. Must be self-motivated and flexible to work with negligible supervision

4. Diligent and extremely organized

5. Able to meet deadlines along with working under pressure

6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

7. Proficient in book-keeping and accounting principles
