As a Finance Controller you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies and budgets for construction projects.
2. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including cost control, variance analysis, and profitability assessment, to support project decision-making.
3. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cash flows to ensure adherence to financial goals.
4. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards, with a focus on the construction sector.
6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects, proposing solutions to maintain financial stability.
7. Cost Control: Implement cost control measures and provide recommendations for optimizing project costs without compromising quality.
8. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
9. Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee vendor negotiations and contract management to ensure favourable terms and cost-effective procurement.

Qualifications:
· Minimum of 7 years of progressive financial management experience in the construction industry.
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· Strong knowledge of construction industry financial practices and regulations.
· Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills.
· Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
