About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Engaging in in-depth financial analysis, business analysis, industry analysis, and macro analysis
2. Building, refining, and maintaining complex financial models for forecasting and valuation requirements
3. Preparing valuation reports and financial models that include discounted cash flow, accretion/dilution analysis, etc.
4. Working on the analysis and interpretation of financial statements
5. Reviewing and refining financial models made by clients, other bankers, and internal team members
6. Creating and maintaining investor presentations, information memorandums, and teasers
7. Getting industry research, benchmarking, and other desktop research work done from junior analysts
8. Drafting and designing presentations based on the same (including editing, summarizing, and preparing various versions)
9. Working on key pitches to analyze options for acquisitions/divestitures/capital raising and recommending suitable actions
10. Owning the execution team's presentation-related outputs and directly coordinating with the client
11. Working on the proposal or RFP to be built for transaction assignment (including scoping)
12. Evaluating transactions and creating a basic summary (including potential investors, lenders)
13. Supporting due diligence activity on a debt or equity transaction
