• Avantha Technologies is looking for a Financial Analyst to help its executive team make wise financial and business decisions by providing accurate forecasts on profitability and operational efficiency.
• You will be responsible for creating in-depth financial models, aid in capital budgeting and expenditure planning and conduct other types of financial analysis.
• You will be reporting to the Financial Head and work alongside the business teams.

Responsibility

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
• 3-5 years of experience in business finance or other relevant experience
• Expert in financial modeling techniques
• Excellent understanding in excel formulas and functions
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent Excel skills
• Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures
• Proficient understanding in other financial software applications, including but not limited to, data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or other.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 2016 & 365
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Outstanding research and analytical abilities
• Native fluency in English
