Associate Business Analyst Will be highly regarded with an excellent track record in his or her current environment The successful candidate must be a strong decisive results oriented individual who can develop and manage relationships across the company and with a wide variety of partners based on trust teamwork and knowledge The following details specific responsibilities for this critical role Identification analysis and documentation of requirementsAnalysis customization and reengineering business processesDevelopment of process flowsData conversion integration mapping and testingApplication testing documentation and monitoring for specific resultsUpdate of project documentationStatus reporting on assigned tasksKnowledge to transfer finance end usersElicit conversion requirements using interviews document analysis requirements workshops surveys site visits business process descriptions use cases scenarios business analysis task and workflow analysis Provide subject matter expertise in the required functional and application area Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong analytical and product management skills required including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirementsGathers user requirements by attending user meetings and interviewing clients usersAnalyze gathered information using flowcharting and other methodologiesPrepares requirement documentationConduct more thorough analysis when problem areas are discoveredDocuments project requirements using clear concise language consistent with the appropriate methodologiesIn addition to users communicates with developers tester and implementation specialistsTests and reconciles conversion data in test environment prior to goliveWorks independently to analyze conversion requirements to increase efficiency and streamline processingAssists during users during UAT with conversion questions and issuesAssists users during deployment
EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED
2 3 years of experience in the analysis design development enhancement and implementation of software solutionsWellversed on Oracle terminology and methodologiesKnowledge of Oracle R12 AP AR FA I Expense and CE modulesAbility to work on Oracle reporting toolAbility to work on Sub Ledger conversions and reconcilementsAbility to work on Inbound and Outbound Interfaces to General Ledger and Sub LedgersAbility to work with multiple distributed teams across time zonesStrong Microsoft Office skills on Windows including Outlook PowerPoint Excel Word and VisioWorking international experience in a financial institution is desirable Ability to travel if required
