The Financial Systems Manager is the key process driver and project manager for development of Hyperion/Oracle products and a contributor to process and maintenance of day to day financial operations pertaining to systems.
Key Accountabilities/responsibilities For This Role Include
- Set up team and oversee the administration and ongoing development of all Hyperion/Oracle products as we continue to grow.
- Subject matter expert to support financial system tools such as Hyperion, PBCS, and Oracle Ledger Structure.
- Responsible for day to day maintenance of Oracle applications including changes to accounts, entities, mappings, reports, consolidations, and translations of databases.
- Responsible for user training, testing system, and form/report changes.
- Approve and execute system changes for business rules, web forms, reports, process controls are properly documented and tested.
- Maintain security application security.
- Ensure data quality and transparency and run, validate, and improve financial systems processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Liaise with internal and external partners regarding financial system matters.
- Test application patches/upgrades and or operating system updates.
- Establish best practices for Financial Systems applications and ensure theses are adhered to.
- Continually drive process improvements
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Previous high-level and administrator experience with Hyperion/Oracle
- Previous financial systems manager experience
- Independently motivated, a collaborative team player and adaptable to different situations and personalities
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Good comprehension of accounting principles and practices
- Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Advanced communication skills, written and oral, are essentialfor this position
