QPS consultancy jobs - Fire and Safety Officer

We are looking for a responsible Safety Officer to facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines and to create, enact and update job safety programmes for employees that encompass health and safety regulations as well as company standards for safety in the workplace. You will provide advice on measures to minimize hazards or unhealthy situations. The goal is to establish a safe workplace according to legal standards and foster a culture of attention to health and safety

Safety Officer Job Duties

Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.

Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy

Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
