Independently lead firmware development, problem analysis and arrive at solutions
Provide technical leadership in requirement collection, design and development
Collaborate with cross functional and global teams
Participate in project planning and own technical risk management from end to end.
Enhance quality, productivity and innovation drive in the team. Develops ways to improve technical methodology, processes, and products within work group.
Collaborate with other teams for knowledge sharing and own initiatives for knowledge sharing practices
Hands on knowledge on embedded software products, 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers & peripherals, communication protocols -SPI,I2C,CAN,I2S .wireless standards, RTOS and mentor other team members
Hands on experience in microcontroller firmware coding based on the chipset and various IDE /toolchain - build and debug capability
Proficient in wireless protocols and standards – 802.15.4
Domain knowledge on material handling equipment’s and warehouse management software
Excellent programming skills in embedded C,C++
Ability to execute varying assignments
Good communication skills and teaming skills
Mentoring skills and ability to coach/mentor junior Engineers in the team
Strong background in software development processes and ability to drive the processes with the team.
Exposure to CMMi and ASDP processes desired
Exposure to software product development life cycle and agile methodologies would be preferred
