1. Design & develop firmware for control and sensor networks
2. Work on the validation of embedded firmware
3. Develop a test suite and test environment
4. Work on helping the development team in performing validation & verification activities

Other requirements

1. Must have strong C programming for embedded systems

2. Knowledge of microcontroller architecture

3. Knowledge of communication protocols SPI, USART, and I2C

4. Hands-on experience with multithreaded programming for Linux or microcontroller is desirable

5. Knowledge of control & sensor protocols such as Zigbee and ZWave is desirable

6. Knowledge of building automation protocols such as Zigbee, Zwave, BACnet, and Modbus is desirable

7. Must be self-motivated with a result-driven approach
