Role Overview
We are looking for qualified candidates who enjoy interacting with clients to be practitioners on our electronic trading systems. You will be working with tier 1 banks in a very dynamic environment. We have a defined need for a Quality Engineer to join the Professional Services department and be responsible for the delivered quality of our products. This involves deep familiarity with the product's technical and functional requirements.
You will need to be familiar with testing tools and methodologies, as well as, with product development life cycle models such as Agile.Furthermore, you will
- Be working directly with our client’s to understand the product planning and analyze testing needs.
- Working with our clients on end-to-end testing of FIX platforms.
- Working directly at our customer’s sites.
- Building automated test cases using proprietary automated test tool
- Working with Equities, Options, and Futures
- Have experience with E2E environment framework maintenance, SOD/EOD health check reports, be able to troubleshoot issues for resolution.
Technical Requirements
Desired skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Computers/IT.
- 2-3 years’ of QA experience in working with FIX based systems
- Familiarity with financial markets, exchanges and financial instruments (options, futures and stocks)
- Good knowledge of FIX protocol, and familiarity with various FIX messages for session, orders and trade handling.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, and SQL
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, BASH, etc.
- Familiarity with major programming languages
- Be able to support distributed and complicated systems
- Familiarity with automated testing tools, specially those relevant to Capital Markets – Selenium, VeriFIX etc.
