1. Will be responsible and should be present during opening and closing of the
store.
2. Maintain a register which contains general contact information of all needs
like Electrician, Carpenter, Plumber, Security, Housekeeping, CCTV, Software
etc. Also maintain a soft copy of the same.
3. Should be aware of all the electrical switches, mains, generator and security
locks.
4. Every Morning, ensure all the sales floors are cleanly moped, all the Lights, AC,
Software etc. everything is in working condition.
5. Check the box cash to be correct and maintain a register for the box cash
denominations and duly signed every morning.
6. Ensure all the floor coordinators, employees, cashiers, housekeeping, security
are on time for duty.
7. Have a brief chat with the floor coordinators and employees if necessary, for
any issues pending from the previous day(attendance issues, customer related
issues, employee behavioural issues etc.).
8. Maintain Employee history/ timeline(physical register or in KEKA). Enter any
comments, feedback, issues or any actions taken with respective dates.
9. Coordinate with Floor coordinators and Employees, to prepare a stock wanting
list. Stock wanting list should be prepared section wise and should be
prepared by the day end. The same should be communicated with the godown
coordinator and ensure all the stock is procured. Maintain a register for all
the stock transfers.(stock coming in from the godown)
10. If needed, send appropriate employees to the godown and maintain a register
for the same.
11. Housekeeping staff is responsible for cleaning the entire store floor, store
exterior , staff lunchroom and washrooms twice in a day. Make sure the same
is done.
12. Maintain a quiet, pleasant store environment by overlooking the employee
behaviour and avoiding small talks within the employees.
13. Select appropriate Employees for customer receiving on each floor.
14. All the employees should be shuffled within the store every month.
Coordinate with HR for the same. Maintain a register for the same.
15. Ensure the customer is greeted well and properly received.
16. Be available for any kind of Billing, Payment and Customer related issues.
17. Get trained in POS software(VENX) and HR software(KEKA).
18. Should be responsible for attending phone calls.
19. A whatsapp group will be created which has the Management, HR, Store
coordinator and all the employees, as members. Each employee should inform
them of their leave the day before and should get approval from the store
coordinator. Store coordinator should ensure that an adequate number of
employees are present in each section before approving any leave.
20. Ensure frequent communication with the management regarding any issues
and try to solve them without any delay.
21. Will be responsible for collecting various kinds of data for further analysis. The
data might include customer feedback, own observations and suggestions, employee
behaviour and efficiency, store maintenance and visual merchandising etc.
22. Will be responsible for documenting any change or action implemented in the
store.
23. Arrange time to time interactions between the management and the employee.
