We want to create and distribute high quality content to educate the world about video storytelling and design. Our vision is to enable anyone and everyone to unleash their creativity on videos with the same freedom of thought and expression as a 5-year old does with her first version of ‘My Family’ drawing.

We’re looking for a Content Writer (Freelance) to create high quality content that educates a growing community of marketers, business owners and agencies about the best practices, tips and case studies around creating beautiful videos for businesses.

Typito is in a highly competitive market, so we are looking for writers who have proven understanding of writing structure and best practices needed for SEO and a proven track record with multiple blog posts and/or landing pages ranking in the Top 5 Google search results for targeted keywords.

Responsibilities

Get familiar with Typito’s products and its target audience
Coordinate with content editor to understand briefs
Research pain points and topic in-depth before working on first draft
Prepare well-structured content by leveraging keyword research and based on SEO best practices (blog posts, long form guides and landing pages)
Make sure that the final work is grammatically sound and free from typos
Revise copy based on feedback from content editor
Promote content on social media
Ideate, write high quality content by adhering to deadlines
Designing creatives using Templates on Canva, Typito (it’s like Canva for Video) to compliment written content on blog posts

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a content writer
Proven track record of content ranking among Top 5 Google search results for multiple keywords and/or products
Ability to write content across different forms - listicles, long form content, landing page content etc.
Good interpersonal skills to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders
Ability to understand a problem statement faced by customers and do the research required to

Bonus:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism/communications
Experience with Wordpress, Google Docs, and social media content creation platforms like Canva
Experience with SEO tools like SEMRush, Moz, Ahref, Google Search Console
