Responsibilities

The Role

Develop interactive, immersive and engaging experiences that live on a variety of devices - desktop web applications, smartphones and tablets. The role turns a creative concept and executes it within the available technology medium to ensure full delivery of customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

Create web, Smartphone or tablet applications using a mixture of front-end technologies.
Employ sound Object Oriented Programming techniques to deliver highly interactive executions of creative content.
Use unit/ui and other forms of automated testing to deliver applications.
Robustly test applications before they progress on to the QA department.
Adhere to best practices when writing code - from formatting, naming conventions to correct use of appropriate design patterns.
Use new technology to extend creative reach of projects.
Consider and utilize UI design principles when developing end user applications.
Take part in the creative process when delivering solutions to customers.
Contribute to departmental learning within the team environment.
Use standard refactoring methods to ensure code is kept in a maintainable state.
Provide work-effort estimates against work item tasks.
Use lateral thinking and investigative techniques to solve technological challenges.
