About the Position:

We are seeking a software engineer to join our small front end team, working with us on the development of large scale web applications for the Mist Systems product line within Juniper Networks.

Responsibilities:

reviewing requirements and UX design documents

collaborating with product managers, user experience designers, and API developers

building new front end features using JavaScript, CSS, and React

testing, debugging, profiling, and improving the existing codebase

Minimum Qualifications:

university degree in Computer Science or equivalent

5+ years front end development experience, including at least 5 years working with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue

deep understanding of front end development fundamentals including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and browser APIs

familiarity with REST-based APIs and JSON data structures

working knowledge of Github

strong debugging and problem solving skills

excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

experience developing a large-scale React application

familiarity with wired and/or wireless networking

understanding of cloud computing environments, relational databases, web servers
