Role : Front End Developer

Role overview :To help us achieve our goals, we are seeking a Front End Software Engineer to join our team. You will leverage your knowledge to develop new consumer-focused products using modern Engineering. As a developer at Weight Watchers, your code, designs, and decisions will be highly visible, and will directly impact and delight our users.

Job Description :

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

Responsibilities:-

Design and implement low-latency, highly available and performing applications that scale for millions of users.-

Apply creative problem-solving skills to build out new features and iterate on existing features.-

Writing tested and documented JavaScript, Jquery, HTML5 and CSS3-

Make design and technical decisions for React Js projects.-

Develop application code and unit test in the Javascript, technologies for the Application Development Center.-

Increase test coverage via unit tests and integration tests-

Help define architectures and design patterns-

Actively participate in PR reviews in GitHub-

Participate in Agile sprint-

Work closely with product, QA and UX teams to design the best solutions for our consumers-

Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-endSkills And Qualifications :-

Object-Oriented JavaScript, JQuery is a must.-

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3-

Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS-

A developer should have the knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS-

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX-

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as{{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}-

Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.-

Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.-

Experience with rendering techniques and writing high performing code-

BS/Btech degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic or professional background
