Role:

You are experienced in Bigcommerce/ Shopify site building, including Shopify Plus.
You are experienced in creating and maintaining responsive and fully optimized Shopify/bigcommerce site themes in Liquid, CSS and JavaScript
Integrating third-party and platform partner apps
Knowledge in Shopify development systems like Polaris, Theme Kit
You are familiar with the Shopify/bigcommerce app ecosystem, using apps as part of delivering client solutions.
You know how to optimize your code for accessibility, performance, security, and maintainability.
You are familiar with best practice in SEO and structured data and its implementation for Shopify/bigcommerce sites.
Experienced in deploying web analytics and tags for Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Optimize
You have a broad knowledge of web technologies.
You’re experienced in modern development workflows including Git and CLI tools.
You’ve worked directly with clients on new developments and providing technical support.
You’ve worked as part of a team with other developers, designers and project managers.
Ability to learn/work on new technology.

Responsibilities:

Building new eCommerce platforms from the ground up in Bigcommerce, Shopify and Shopify Plus
Extending existing Bigcommerce/ Shopify platforms for clients
Evaluating new technology and techniques to improve our products and processes.
Providing support to our clients as part of our technical team
Contributing to internal projects to create or improve our services.
Thoroughly QA work prior to submission, manage the QA and deployment process with the Delivery team.
Implementing SEO/CRO best practices in Bigcommerce/ Shopify with support from Marketing
Work closely with your colleagues in both Marketing and Delivery to create in-the-moment marketing, UX and promotional campaigns and site enhancements (landing pages, popups, gamification, lead gen forms etc.) to increase conversion and revenue.
Troubleshoot and solve bugs as they come up, and to identify areas for site improvement.
