Role Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with good hands-on experience in front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with file systems, storage and cloud technology for web applications. Also, you should have an eye for great design and a knack for pushing projects from conception all the way to customers. In this role you will design and develop data protection solutions using the latest technologies. You will own product quality and overall customer experience as well as propose technical solutions for product/service problems while refining, designing and implementing software components in line with technical requirements.

Successful applicants will be working closely with our team of engineers and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The development team operates within an Agile process and is empowered to alter it as needed to achieve team and company objectives. In this role, you will collaborate with both front-end and back-end software engineers and solutions specialists.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, develop, maintain products and assist in their commercialisation - in agreement with project technical and timing objectives
• Build prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing and may be required to set up and run lab simulations
• Ensure that product code and artifacts are managed and safeguarded in a configuration management system in accordance with relevant procedures and guidelines
• Assist in identifying and organising requirements and producing specifications
• Apply usability procedures and principles as defined at the project or product-line level or through customer input
• Design testing procedures and coordinate with others to perform tests. Conduct tests, document test results and develop client presentations. This may involve presenting solutions to clients
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure and maintain source code quality
• Provide timely corrective actions on all assigned defects and issues
• Conduct and/or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code and other artifacts. Ensure commitments are agreed, reviewed and met
• Contribute to design standards and support design re-use (best practices, etc.)
• Contributes to the development plan by providing task estimates. Define and publish key performance metrics for the development quality
• Create and maintain product documentation (requirements, specification, design, development, integration, test procedures and results)

Previous Experience

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 4-6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• In depth expertise and hands on experience with AngularJS, Core JavaScript
• In depth expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, JAVA, CSS, .NET, C#, JQuery and API’s
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET)
• Good Understanding of web, desktop, mobile and API application development technologies.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller(MVC))
• Familiarity with browser testing
• Experience with Agile software development processes (specifically SCRUM)
• Knowledge of configuration management
• Knowledge of software construction and adherence to software quality principles
• Knowledge of Information Engineering (Databases, Data management Processes)

In addition, it is desirable that you have the following:

• Fluency in both written and verbal English
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively to achieve objectives

• Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
