As a part of the core Platform as a Service offering, the Intelligent Automation Development team is building the core machine learning/AI/predictive analytics technology that will power revenue generating business use-cases using customer data to predict desired outcomes automatically; hence delivering a manifold increase in productivity of business processes of ServiceNow customers. The team focuses on operationalizing machine learning and predictive analytics use cases for all ServiceNow business applications.

What You Get To Do In This Role

Design, implement, test, deliver and support ServiceNow's internal applications and tools as a part of the overall Platform-as-a-Service offering. Specifically, you

• Lead and Deliver key asks from internal constituents by example
• Translate the needs into concrete application workflow requirements
• Design, code, and test features to solve new business use cases
• Support, fix bugs, improve performance covering full DevOps lifecycle.
• Develop innovative ideas that ensures the competitiveness of the product/application being developed
• Instrumentation of various features in AI/ML product
• Visualize key statistical concepts of underlying AI/ML models and its performance
  
  

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

• Around 6+ years of software development experience.
• Demonstrable experience in Java, JavaScript and WebServices programming skills a must
• Working experience on SQL and databases
• Working Experience in the following browser UI technologies: HTML, CSS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Web Component framework is added advantage.
• Passion for software development with exceptional problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Ability to translate business needs into concrete application workflow steps
• Agile/Scrum experience a must
• Experience with scripting languages is a must
• Experience with one or more source control systems and automation frameworks, preferably Git and Maven
• Expertise in Unit and Integration Test Frameworks
• Exceptional debugging and testing skills
• Exceptional understanding of statistical libraries, algorithms and concepts
• Self-starter, with quick learning curve
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Hands on programmer, not an analyst
• Working experience within product development teams is a must
• Must have demonstrated work experience through multiple life cycles of a product within a single company.
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
