Summary

This position is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of internally developed systems that support the management of workflows.

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, confluence, etc
• Strong hands-on experience with Python (Django) and Javascript
• Exposure to microservices-based architectures
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts and design patterns
• Knowledge of any client-side scripting language - JavaScript / Typescript 
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment  
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)  
• Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS and responsive layouts
• Exposure to code quality tools like sonar cube.
• Familiarity with build pipelines like Jenkins
• Exposure to cloud technologies - AWS (preferred) / Azure / Google Cloud

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Node.js and React would be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our products including web and mobile applications
• Provide input and decisions related to technical, feature, and design direction of our products and infrastructure
• Handle support escalation cases when code investigation is required
• Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends
• Perform development tasks and troubleshoot issues with minimal oversight.
• Support analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and documentation for new product features.
• Analyzing and understanding business requirements and translating those to deliverable customizations to meet specific customer needs.
• Develop high-level technical specifications prior to, and in support of, deliverables.
• Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Develop and support software including applications, database integration, front-end UI, APIs/interfaces
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.

Education and experience

• BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience
