This role has responsibility of operations for Fund Administration business in India. Driving efficiencies, improving customer experience and automation.
Build and maintain operating standards and practices that are responsive and adaptable to evolving business needs
Provide excellent level of services to internal and external customers and to implement the culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Establish standards, parameters and wider expectations for quality, accuracy and timelines of work expected
Client Servicing & Customer satisfaction
Compliance, Risk management/mitigation and adherence to system and processes
Support in achievement of Revenue and profitability targets of the organization
Candidate is required in Fund Administration (Accounting and Investor Service) operations
Knowledge of investment operations encompassing transfer agency, settlements, cash management and accounting including direct and indirect tax
Fund Accounting and Administration including KYC; set ups, NAV computation and client reporting, ensuring adherence to laid down internal and statutory guidelines and service standards agreed with the clients
Knowledge of laws & regulations governing the Funds (AIF/Mutual funds) industry
Handling the financial reporting requirement for a portfolio of alternative investment fund structures, ensuring the efficient delivery of high quality financial reports
Scheme Fund Accounting (including NAV at set frequency) and maintaining books of Accounts for a scheme, including passing all related accounting entries after checking their correctness and impact on NAV
MIS & SEBI reporting on Adhoc, Bi Monthly, Quarterly, Monthly/Half yearly & annual report
Coordinating with external auditors for audit for Half Yearly and Annual accounts
Strong team-player with experience with working in a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation
Strong communication and influencing skills; collaborative and a team player
Hands on exposure on any fund accounting software (Mfund, Multifonds, Laser Soft etc)
Proficiency in MS
Analytical approach and effective oral and written communication skills
Minimum 6-8 years working experience in operations.
Strong track record in acting as a partner to senior management
Experience in change management; from idea inception to fully implementing changes proposed would be a distinct advantage
