Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work in various departments of the organization, ranging from human resources to sales and IT
2. Adapt to working with different sets of people and in different departments on any given day
3. Gain as much knowledge of the organization as one can and prepare oneself for a managerial role
4. Become aware of the international policies and practices of the organization you are working for
5. Spend time observing experienced staff of the organization in order to learn about the necessary methods and procedures
6. Involve the senior management in setting goals and objectives
7. Monitor progress with the help of the key staff of the organization
8. Learn about the inner workings of the different departments of the organization
9. Communicate with various members of the organization around the world and stay sensitive to cultural differences
