Job Description

General Manager/Deputy General Manager   Job Position in Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd on Regular / Deputation / Contract basis:

 

General Manager (Finance) Grade (E8)

Qualification : Candidate must be a full-time Graduate from a recognised university preferably a CA (Member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India) or I.C.W.A (Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India).

Experience :  Member of Group “A” Service of Government in JAG with 9 years’ experience or in SG with 06 years or working in SAG Grade. Appointment on deputation in case of Government Officers may also be considered. OR  Executives working in “CPSE/ PSU/ Autonomous Bodies” with 05 years’ experience in the E6 or equivalent grade with IDA pay scale of Rs 36,600 – 62,000/- (pre-revised) or with minimum 02 years’ experience in the E7 or equivalent grade with the IDA pay scale of Rs 43,200- 66,000/- (pre-revised).  Candidate must possess minimum 18 years of postqualification executive grade experience in Finance & Accounts in Metro Rail/ Govt. Organization/ PSUs.  Candidate must have working experience in area of Corporate Accounting, Financial Management, Multilateral / Bilateral Funding, Taxation – Direct/ Indirect, Treasury Management, Corporate Governance, Tender Evaluation, Vetting of Contracts/ Offers/ Estimates IND-AS implementation, Compliance of Companies Act, 2013.  The candidates from Private sector should have the working experience in a firm of repute with annual turnover of not less than Rs. 2000 crores and with a minimum CTC of Rs. 20 Lakhs.  Candidate must have at least five (05) years of cumulative experience at a senior level during the last ten (10) years, in various aspects of Corporate Financial Management and Accounts in an organization of repute.

Desirable :  Candidate with experience of working in Railways/ Metros/ other PSUs or other Govt. / Semi-Govt. will be preferred.  Candidates with working knowledge of SAP & Computers will be preferred.

Deputy General Manager (Accounts) Grade (E5)

Qualification : Candidate must be a full-time Graduate from a recognised university preferably a CA (Member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India) or I.C.W.A (Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India).

Experience :  Minimum 09 year’s post qualification executive grade experience with 04 years’ experience in next below grade in IDA pay scale of Rs. 29,100 – 54,500/- (pre-revised) or  Total minimum 09 years’ post qualification executive grade experience with 04 years’ experience in next below grade of executive in state government; or  Candidate must possess minimum 09 years of post-qualification executive grade experience in Finance & Accounts in Govt. Metro Rail/ Govt. Organization/ PSUs.  Candidate must have exposure / working experience in area of Corporate Accounting, Financial Management, Multilateral / Bilateral Funding, Taxation – Direct/ Indirect, Treasury Management, Corporate Governance, Tender Evaluation, Vetting of Contracts / Offers / Estimates IND-AS implementation, Compliance of Companies Act, 2013.  Candidate must be conversant in various aspects of Corporate Financial Management and Accounts in an organization of repute.  Candidates working in Private sector must have a minimum 09 years’ post qualification experience in executive grade in a firm of repute with annual turnover of not less than Rs. 2000 crores and in a minimum CTC of Rs. 12 Lakhs in “desirable” domain for the post.

Desirable :  Candidate with experience of working in Railways/ Metros/ other PSUs or other Govt. / SemiGovt. will be preferred.  Candidates with working knowledge of SAP & Computers will be preferred.

Executive Assistant to Executive Director (Planning) Grade (E4)

Qualification : Full time Degree in Engineering / Planning from recognised and reputed university

Experience :  Jr. Scale officer having total minimum 05 years of service with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- (CDA); or  Officer currently working in Sr. Scale (Rs.6,600/- (CDA) or IDA pay scale of Rs. 24,900 – 50,500/- (pre-revised),with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 07 years of post-qualification experience in reputed Private sector in Executive grade in “desirable” domain for the post with minimum CTC of Rs. 08 Lacs.

Desirable :  Candidate having experience in preparing schedules, Agenda of meeting, brief of meeting will be preferred.  Candidate should be technically sound and be able to communicate in Marathi and English.

Accounts Officer/ Assistant Manager (Finance) Grade (E2)

Qualification : Full-time Degree in Commerce from recognised and reputed university and knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards

Candidate must be a full-time Graduate from a recognised university preferably a CA (Member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of India) or I.C.W.A (Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India).

Experience : Employees of Central Govt./ CPSU, State Govt./ State PSU’s in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- and above with minimum 10 years of post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts department. or Employees in equivalent IDA Scale of Rs. 18,500 - 35,600/- (Pre-revision) with minimum 10 years of post qualification experience in Finance & Accounts department.

Sr. Supervisor having total minimum 04 years of service with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- or  Officer currently working in Jr. Scale with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- with minimum 02 years’ experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 04 years of experience in Supervisory grade of Rs. 18,500-35,600/- (pre-revision) in IDA pay scale with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 04 years of post-qualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience in reputed Private sector in Executive grade in “desirable” domain for the post with minimum CTC of Rs. 08 Lacs.

Qualification : Full time Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized and reputed university

Experience :  Sr. Supervisor having total minimum 04 years of service with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- or  Officer currently working in Jr. Scale with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- with minimum 02 years’ experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 04 years of experience in Rs. 18,500-35,600/- (pre-revision) in IDA pay scale with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 04 years of postqualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 05 years of postqualification experience in reputed Private sector in Executive grade in “desirable” domain for the post with minimum CTC of Rs. 08 Lacs.

Desirable :  Experience of working on projects of tunnelling/ underground stations of urban railways/ other major underground works/ viaduct and bridges/ ballast-less track works.  Candidate should be conversant with international competitive bidding, computerized environment working etc.  Adequate experience in planning, designing, construction, integration and commissioning of civil engineering works for underground/ elevated metro/ rail projects in urban & suburban environment including consultancy works related to urban rail projects.  Candidates with experience of working of modern urban rail system will be preferred.  Candidates with experience in Govt. sector/ Public sector companies/ large scale infrastructure Projects / Metro rail companies will be preferred.

Community Development Assistant Grade (W5)

Qualification :Full-time Master’s Degree in Social Work from a recognized and reputed university/ Institute

Experience :  Supervisor working in Central /State Govt. / PSU’s / CPSU’s /Autonomous Bodies in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- or  Total minimum 03 years of experience in Rs. 10,170-18,500/- (pre-revision) in IDA pay scale with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Candidate should have minimum 08 years of post-qualification work experience with reputed institutions in the field of social development particularly in urban development.  Candidate must have knowledge of Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) in large scale Govt infrastructure projects / Metro Rail Projects.

Desirable : Candidates with experience in Govt. sector/ Public sector companies/ Large scale infrastructure Projects / Metro rail companies will be preferred.

Surveyor Grade (W5)

Qualification : Candidate should have passed Secondary School Certificate Examination of Maharashtra State Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board and should have passed “Surveyor” course conducted by the Government approved Industrial Training Institute or its equivalent institute and should possess MS-CIT certificate & Auto CAD certificate.

Experience : Candidate should have minimum 03 years’ experience and should have knowledge of Land Survey Measurement and handling Measuring Instruments, Calculation of Area, Land Demarcation etc. pertaining to large infrastructure projects / Metro Rail Projects.

Desirable : Candidates with experience in Govt. sector/ Public sector companies/ large scale infrastructure Projects / Metro rail companies will be preferred.

Sr. Assistant to Company Secretary Grade (W5)

Qualification : Full-time Graduate in Commerce with minimum 60% from a recognized university and having passed the “Executive Programme” conducted by Institute of Company Secretaries of India and certification & full-time Diploma course with working knowledge of Computers and having proficiency in MSOffice etc.

Experience :  Supervisor working in Central /State Govt./ PSU’s / CPSU’s /Autonomous Bodies in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- or  Total minimum 03 years of experience in Rs. 10,170-18,500/- (pre-revision) in IDA pay scale with minimum 02 years post qualification experience in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 03 years of postqualification experience in Executive grade in Government entities in “desirable” domain for the post; or  Total minimum 05 years of postqualification experience in reputed Private sector in “desirable” domain for the post.

Desirable : Candidate having experience of dealing with other PSUs or other Govt./ Semi-Govt. companies will be preferred.

It has been constituted as a JV of the Govt. of India(GOI) and the Government of Maharashtra(GOM) on 50:50 sharing basis.
