Job Description

General Manager (Environment) 01(One)

PB-4, (Rs.37400-67000) with Grade Pay Rs.8700 [Prerevised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 13 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC].

Essential Educational Qualification and Experience:- i) Degree of a recognized University, with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized University; AND ii) 14 years’ experience in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- [pre-revised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Level 10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC] or equivalent or higher out of which 7 years experience in the field of environmental sciences / environmental engineering / processing environmental clearances cases as per norms formulated by Government of India / conducting of Environmental Impact Assessment of major projects / monitoring implementation of Environmental Management Plan.
