3. Essential Educational Qualification: Full time regular B.E/ B.Tech in Naval Architecture/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Production/ Electronics/ Shipbuilding from a recognised university/ AICTE approved institution.

4. Essential Work Experience: The applicant should have post qualification work experience of minimum 20 years. Further, the applicant should have atleast 3 years’ experience in a senior position as Head of the Project during the last ten years in construction / repair of a major naval project (Aircraft Carrier/ Destroyer/ Frigate/ Corvette).

5. Desirable: Should have managerial work experience in shipbuilding/ repair including design, production and planning. Should be well versed with production techniques and have command over naval standards related to shipbuilding. Should have command of operation research techniques like PERT, CPM, Scheduling and have knowledge of entire Production Planning and Control domain. Should have a working  knowledge of ERP/ project management software. Apart from subject expertise, should possess effective people skills, apt policy conceiving/ designing and implementation skills, entrepreneurial skills, demonstrative leadership abilities, team building and strategic planning. Should have sound resource management skills towards enhancing quality and standards of the delivery mechanisms and output to internal and external

customers.

6. Officers from Indian Navy presently serving in the Pay Level 13 for a minimum of 2 years as on cut-off date or equivalent in Army / Air Force /Coast Guard may also apply, if meeting the above eligibility criteria.
