2,40,000 - 2,50,000 Per Year General Operator:
a) Job responsibility:
Responsible to work in shift for chemical manufacturing based on standard operation
procedure (SOP) maintaining safety & quality guidelines. The chemical manufacturing
includes raw materials staging, charging, processing and filling into containers with strict
adherence batch cycle time and critical process parameter. Responsible to perform 5S,
CLIT, defect tagging and other TPM activities as per direction of Shift production team
leader. Ensures minimum or Zero material loss during processing of chemicals and
maintains safe work place conditions and employee relations. Participates in
improvement project related to production, equipment and related to plant efficiencies,
safety and TPM activities. Follows quality control guidelines and procedures to ensure
that finished goods comply in line with quality specifications.
b) Education and work experience:
Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Sc. with Chemistry.
Two to three years of experience as a production / process operator in production
function of a reputed Chemical manufacturing company with hands on experience in
chemical manufacturing with respect to raw material charging, processing, filling and
vessel decontamination for product change over with some knowledge of chemical &
operational safety and understanding of equipment related to chemical manufacturing.
Some exposure to 5S, CLIT, defect tagging & other TPM activities are desirable.
c) Reports to:
Production team leader of the shift.
