Job Description

GLOBAL COORDINATOR LABOUR RIGHTS IN GLOBAL VALUE CHAINS
5 - 10 Years
Delhi

Skill and Competence :

1. Relevant working experience in business and human rights related issues at a national/international level with an organisation of national/international repute.
2. Proven ability to coordinate and manage complex project/program activities in a multi- cultural environment
3. Specialist knowledge of global value chains, labour rights and a sharp political
judgement / well-developed understanding of the political landscape in India and/or South Africa
4. Experience with international advocacy and policy dialogue
5. Profound understanding of women’s rights and gender justice
6. Experience in working and networking with partners at all levels (local & global networks, NGOs and local grassroots / community based organizations)
7. Good multi-cultural and interpersonal skills
8. Decent practical knowledge in the area of labour rights in global value chains, human rights and development studies
9. Experience in report writing, monitoring and evaluation of projects
10. Ability to effectively lead and steer processes virtually and face to face
11. Excellent verbal and written fluency in English
12. Indian citizenship is required for application
