The Global Health Services Operations Lead, India Campus will manage health services across Campus locations seeking to optimize Global Health Services resource deployment against strategic objectives and across multiple business functions. S/he is part of the India GHS leadership team. S/he assumes campus-wide stewardship and is accountable for the deployment and performance of Global Health and Wellness strategy, policies, standards and compliance across his/her campus in the areas of occupational health, wellness & health promotion and employee assistance programs.
The GHS Operations Lead will routinely collaborate with business leaders in his/her campus. S/he will be a key liaison with EHSS, Facilities, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, and operational leadership at a campus level. S/he may work with external groups and agencies.
Key Responsibilities - Accountable for leading HR, company managers, EHSS, Facilities and other partners and their team in the development of holistic health and well-being strategy for facilities in their campus; - Responsible for successful implementation of the campus and local employee health and well-being strategy for local Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial customers in support of business objectives; - Drives health outcomes including reducing population health risks, leading and eliminating workplace health risks and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and well-being; - Is accountable for delivery of agreed-to regional health metrics and outcomes; - Builds and leads a lean, highly competent GHS team that delivers GHS services to all facilities within the campus. Handles geographically dispersed client group locations which may include a mix of J&J employees and contractors; - Brings value by driving greater efficiency and standardization in the deployment of GHS resources, processes, procedures and programs using a regional construct; - Responsible for vendor management for all vendors operating within their campus including site level and campus level service providers; - Leads and executes key management activities including Talent Management, Campus Budget Management, Cost allocation, and regulatory tracking processes; - Defines and coordinates all GHS resource needs within campus while optimizing use of SMEs (e.g., Occupational Health, Wellness, EAP, Energy Management) across all locations and business; - Owns decision rights for intra-campus hiring, staff management, workload distribution; - Continuously monitors all aspects of Campus GHS performance, providing direction to Site GHS leaders and Site GHS teams; - Conducts periodic performance and service happiness reviews with Site leaders; - Provides or guides for GHS technical assistance and support as needed across all campus locations; - Promotes efficiency, compliance and continuous improvement through process improvements and system improvements. - Routinely engages business leaders to review Culture of Health and Employee’s health performance and compliance; - Cultivates an atmosphere of openness and information sharing to inspire a culture of high awareness, visibility and diligence with respect to GHS matters.
