The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for creating visual concepts, by hand or using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. This position works closely with the creative director on a variety of projects related to web design, logo design, packaging design, and other marketing materials.

Responsibilities:

• Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and internet websites
• Produce creative designs that meet company objectives.
• Assist in creating beautiful designs for digital and print media by working with the design team to develop concepts and layouts.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends in industry standards. Research new trends in graphic design.
• Utilize design software to create visuals for promotional materials such as web banners, website pages and emails
• Edit photos/videos as needed
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs align with overall branding strategy
• Work closely with the development team to ensure designs meet technical requirements

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a related field of study or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative
• Some understanding of HTML/CSS is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
