About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Coordinating with the manager and designing the required creatives
2. Designing web pages, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, and other communication material
3. Creating these materials by hand-illustrations or by using technology, including computer software programs such as Adobe's creative suite-including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more (it is the standard in the industry and most employers expect designers to be proficient with its programs)
4. Meeting with clients to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like, creating or incorporating illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications
5. Selecting type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image
6. Producing drafts for review by clients and making revisions based on the feedback received
7. Reviewing final productions for errors and ensuring that final prints reflect client specifications
