About the Opportunity:

Our client (confidential) is a young, dynamic, global tech startup in the travel industry and is looking to disrupt the way individuals and businesses conduct travel and entertainment arrangements. With some of the Fortune 500 companies as clients, they are currently experiencing significant growth and looking to add a Graphic Designer & Marketing Specialist to their team.

The ideal candidate will be sharp beyond their functional skill sets – they will be highly motived, self-starting, creative individual with a passion for connecting with current and future customers through content marketing, social media, and traditional marketing efforts.

This position offers a fun, collaborative, creative and rewarding experience to add to your portfolio, with plenty of room for lateral and upward movement within the company. The ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running ASAP!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create signs and marketing material for B2B and B2C environments
• Create layout and designs for advertising, magazines, product promotions, label design, logos, manuals, posters, banners, trade show booths, etc.
• Design key artifacts for executive presentations, whitepaper, information articles, press releases, etc.
• Collaborate with printing vendors in the production of digital content
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Content Writer, and Sales team to develop marketing literature and make sure all company materials are accurate and relevant
• Create designs for effective online marketing campaigns that build brand recognition, customer loyalty and engagement
• Drive the ideation of innovative, inspiring, and profit-yielding marketing strategies relevant to industry
• Maintain knowledge of current industry trends
• Other duties as required including but not limited to: responding to e-mail and other queries in inboxes across channels, actively engaging with comments left on posts, user generated content and monitoring overall brand perception

What You Must Bring:

• A bachelor’s degree or high-school diploma in Marketing, Graphic design, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design with expert level skills in suite of programs required to create and complete projects such as: Adobe Photoshop; Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Acrobat; InDesign, Microsoft Word; Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Some experience in advertising, social media campaigns, and other facets of digital marketing
• Passion for travel, preferably with some Travel and/or Technology industry experience
• An understanding of creating outreach products and engaging audiences through creative designs
• Video editing experience is a plus, but not required

What You Should Be Able to Demonstrate:

• Strong graphics manipulation/optimization skills
• Strong background in typography, layout, composition, and color
• Prior experience working on successful projects, and lessons learned
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal, to clearly and effectively articulate ideas
• Strong organizational skills - ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of the Adobe Suite of products
• Proven ability to work efficiently both individually and in a team environment
