Wordpress Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in PHP development, including object-oriented PHP
Expert knowledge of WordPress custom post types, custom fields, plugins, theme development, WordPress database and WordPress APIs
Experience with WordPress Multisite
Skilled in HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, and CSS
Good working experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands
Experience transferring data through endpoints using APIs/ RESTful APIs
Test new website code prior to deployment
Use Git to manage source code
Ability to write, debug and test scripting languages like JavaScript and jQuery
Ability to debug and refactor existing PHP code that Role Responsibilities to Expect
Develop a custom website and theme using WordPress
Implement and build out wireframe specifications
Gather requirements from the project team and translate them into easy- to- use and functional solutions
Work in a team environment to ensure project completions
Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the website after completion working with Embitel
Freedom to challenge norms, make mistakes, learn and grow

Skills Required:

Socially adept
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Strong working knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and JavaScript
Excellent time management and organization skills
Outstanding management skills. You’ll have projects at various stages running on a daily basis.
Project deadline oriented.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
