Pay : Selected candidates shall be paid a consolidated pay of Rs.25,000/- [Rupees twenty five thousand only] per month. The Guest faculty will not be given the benefit of allowances, pensions, gratuity and leave etc., as admissible to the regular teachers.

Madurai Kamaraj University, established in 1966, has 18 Schools comprising 73 Departments. The Directorate of Distance Education of the University has a student strength of about 1.30 lakhs.
