We are looking for the Hadoop Administrator in Indore – Madhya Pradesh

Designation / Position: Hadoop Administrator

Job Description / Duties & Responsibilities :

System & Support Engineer with DevOps Skills:

• Hands-on experience to deploy & maintain Big Data stack solution. Good exposure to Hadoop production deployment, monitoring and relevant tools & techniques

• Excellent knowledge of application/production support practices & tools in vogue

• Must have exposure to 

     Hadoop ecosystem and associated tools like Ambari, Yarn, Hbase etc. 

     Advance Linux commands 

     Shell scripting 

     RDBMS preferably MySQL

• Must have independently managed distributed application deployment & production performance monitoring of large scale Hadoop based production

• Strong exposure to technical skills like 

     Command-line interfaces for various flavours of Linux/Unix systems

     Monitoring tools like Nagios, Ganglia, Graphana etc. 

     Databases (Hbase, MySQL) & Queuing (Kafka) 

     Scripting (Shell, Perl, etc) 

     Networking (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, NTP etc.)

• Ability to effectively document & represent problems encountered & tasks completed

• Good communication, problem-solving & interpersonal skills

• Self-starter with minimum supervision, confident & detail-oriented person

• Good handle to application deployment, debugging and optimization techniques

• 4+ years of relevant industry experience

• Qualification: BE/MCA with profile relevant certifications

Responsibilities:

• Ensure system availability and take necessary steps to ensure it

• Manage the application deployment process based on configurations & instructions from architecture team (including Hadoop cluster deployment & management)

• Responsible for independently managing the upkeep of software deployed and continually monitor production performance to ensure that production SLAs are met consistently

• Act as a direct interface with various stakeholders and triage with engineering & other teams for production issues

• Perform tuning of configuration variables and system jobs for better performance

• Assess the current implementation and suggest an improvement opportunities to facilitate automation of production monitoring & application deployment

• Follow & implement the methods & procedures suggested 

High Level Skills: Hadoop Administrator with big Production Deployment (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualities: The candidate will start working in Indore at Client location and after 6 months will be deployed in Bangalore. Looking candidates from Similar Telecom Domain companies within MP.

Salary Offered: Between 8-22 L (Senior Engineer),Between 4-12 L (Junior Engineer)
