Hardware Design Engineer jobs in Mumbai at Vbeyond Corportions

We're looking for an engineer or specialist to be part of our Hardware design team. He will be responsible for latest Digital Hardware design, FPGA and SoC based technologies for our 5G-NR (New Radio).

Duties And Responsibilities

Focus areas for him would be related to :

Baseband Circuit Design
Component selections mainly DSP, Network Processor and FPGA
Baseband schematic review
High Speed Digital design Layout review
SI and PI analysis
Specifications of important components based on the System level simulation
Complete integration of all the boards in a mechanical housing
Overall review of mechanical and thermal design
ASICs and FPGAs
Working with experts of different areas to ensure most competitive solutions
Cooperating with system engineers, HW/SW development, suppliers and other relevant functions to solve technical issues
Supporting HW/SW bring-up and debug
Appropriate technological counseling so as to assist the PCB layout designers in the designing of the projects
Working knowledge of the following engineering tools; PADS, Xilinx Vivado and Hyperlynx

Education

Qualifications :

B.Tech/M.Tech in VLSI Design/Electronics or equivalent
Min. 70% - 10th, 12th, B.Tech, M.Tech

Experience

Min. 2 - 8 years of experience in High speed digital design, Hardware design of Telecom products such as small cells, Remote Radio Head etc.

Skills And Understanding

Good Understanding of High Speed Digital Design
Good fundamental knowledge of Mixed signal design
LTE and/or 5G-NR know how
Pro-activity and independent problem solving through own experience and network
Experienced in debugging software-based radio boards using associated equipment viz. spectrum analyzer, signal generators, oscilloscope.
Experienced in implementing Serial Protocols (like I2C, SPI, UART, Flexi Bus Interface)
Working knowledge of PADS, Allegro and Hyperlynx tool
