Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop the complete hardware platform for the motor drive and controller
2. Develop the system architecture based on the requirement
3. Identify key components for the design
4. Work with Mechanical engineering and motor designer, to finalize the dimensions,
5. enclosures, connectors, and other electromechanical & thermal requirements
6. Design the schematics and layout for the controller
7. Create and maintain documentation and design collaterals including system architecture, high-level design, low-level design, and physical design
8. Release the design for manufacturing; oversee and manage the PCB manufacturing
9. Assemble the prototypes using hand assembly; oversee PCBA assembly for high-volume runs
10. Create test plans for testing the hardware and system components, working with Motor designer and software engineers
11. Perform section-wise testing and board bring-up activities on the hardware
12. Debug and diagnose the hardware and firmware on the controller
13. Integrate with the motor and perform various functional, performance, and reliability tests as per requirements
14. Prepare test reports and documentation
