Head of Retail and Shopping Partnerships
Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Business management experience.
- Experience with retail marketing.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- eCommerce experience working in India and/or China.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with experience interacting with senior-level executives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
- Effective problem solving and analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key retailers and merchants to create delightful user shopping experiences. Bring deep insights and thought leadership to Google’s retail partner ecosystem.
- Provide strategic oversight to partner agreements. Develop working relationships with new and established retail partners.
- Lead and drive the Shopping Go-to-Market strategies for Google Shopping. Build and execute scalable plans for recruiting cross-border sellers from India to sell in international markets. Source and close business contracts agreeing on business terms, commission structure and service levels.
- Manage key merchant partner (exporters) on an on-going basis, ensuring their 100% presence on Google shopping, resolving issues, and identifying business opportunities and plans for them to grow their business with Google Shopping.
- Represent the company at industry events, which will include describing the benefits of working with Google to users, partners, and other industry players.
