Head of Retail and Shopping Partnerships

Location: Gurugram, Haryana, India

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Business management experience.
  • Experience with retail marketing.

Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA degree.
  • eCommerce experience working in India and/or China.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with experience interacting with senior-level executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Effective problem solving and analysis skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with key retailers and merchants to create delightful user shopping experiences. Bring deep insights and thought leadership to Google’s retail partner ecosystem.
  • Provide strategic oversight to partner agreements. Develop working relationships with new and established retail partners.
  • Lead and drive the Shopping Go-to-Market strategies for Google Shopping. Build and execute scalable plans for recruiting cross-border sellers from India to sell in international markets. Source and close business contracts agreeing on business terms, commission structure and service levels.
  • Manage key merchant partner (exporters) on an on-going basis, ensuring their 100% presence on Google shopping, resolving issues, and identifying business opportunities and plans for them to grow their business with Google Shopping.
  • Represent the company at industry events, which will include describing the benefits of working with Google to users, partners, and other industry players.
