Position: Herbal Procurement Executive                                           

 Roles and Responsibilities

·         Vendor development and sourcing of herbal raw materials

·         Identification and Procurement of herbal raw materials from different farms/ sub-vendors/ contract     

          farms located anywhere in South India

·         Purchasing of forest raw materials with a required certificate from forest officers.

·         Identification and procurement of organic herbal raw materials with required organic certificate.

·         Identification of Farmers by conducting camps  and motivating farmers to grow medicinal plants by explaining economics and price assurance in comparison to other crops.

·         Exposure to medicinal plants, cultivation and collection will be an added advantage.

·         Knowledge of cross-contamination among the medicinal plants and other unwanted weeds

·         Capable of organoleptic evaluation of herbal raw material  such as appearance, damage, size,         

           colour, odour, etc.,

·         Candidates willing to travel and preferably from South Tamilnadu will be considered.

·         Knowledge on logistics and supply, chain management will be an added advantage.

 Qualification:- B.Sc Botany/Plant science or any relevant undergraduate degree with 0-2 experience in herbal procurement or trading
