Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in preparing ingredients for meal preparation, including chopping, cutting, and marinating
2. Assist in cooking meals, following established recipes and techniques
3. Plate and present meals according to established guidelines
4. Ensure that all food preparation and cooking areas are clean and sanitary
5. Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
6. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef
