PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To look after the Sales and marketing of the hotel. To maximise room bookings
-To ensure the department operates efficiently and according to the laid down procedures and policies
· Handle guest complaints with patience and tact, refer to senior management if situation demands, make sure that all guest complaints are brought to the notice of the assistant front office manager/ rooms division manager.
· To ensure that all rostered staff in the front office are on duty and in proper uniforms in accordance with the procedures outlined in the staff hand book
· To liaise with the department head for replacement of any staff who is absent from duty
