Lifeline Foundation founded in 1998, Lifeline foundation, a not-for-profit subsidiary NGO of Medicare Consultancies has pioneered Emergency Medical Services, first on highways and then expanded this work to various stakeholders in rural and urban areas. The foundation has earned various accolades across national and international platform for its distinctive Highway Rescue Project (known by the help line ) setting a benchmark which has been further adopted as a reference model in establishing the Gujarat EMS Act, 2007. Building further on this work, it now trains first responders to tackle emergencies and bystander CPR across India. An institute approved by Director of Industrial Safety and Health, Govt. of Gujarat to conduct trainings at industrial level, Lifeline also conducts civilian trainings in collaboration with various public and private partner institutions and organizations. Apart from these initiatives, the Medical Appliances Bank has been another social start-up which provides extremely subsidized medical equipment on short term basis. Bringing about change has never been more exciting when it starts from our home city.
