Job Description

  • Recruitment and Staffing:

    • Identify staffing needs and collaborate with department heads to determine job requirements.
    • Source and attract candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking.
    • Conduct interviews, assess applicants, and make hiring recommendations.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Employee Relations:

    • Handle employee relations issues, such as conflicts, complaints, and grievances.
    • Mediate disputes and work to resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and management.
    • Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
  • Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance management systems.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
    • Work with managers to identify areas for improvement and development.
  • Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs within the organization.
    • Coordinate and facilitate training programs.
    • Support employee development initiatives and career planning.
  • Compensation and Benefits:

    • Administer compensation and benefits programs.
    • Conduct salary surveys to ensure the organization's compensation structure is competitive.
    • Manage employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
  • HR Policies and Compliance:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations.
  • Employee Engagement:

    • Develop and implement employee engagement programs.
    • Conduct surveys to measure employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
    • Promote a positive organizational culture.
  • HR Information Systems:

    • Maintain and update HR information systems.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of employee information.
    • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics.
  • Talent Management:

    • Identify high-potential employees and develop talent management programs.
    • Succession planning to ensure a pipeline of qualified individuals for key roles.
  • Health and Safety:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Implement safety programs and initiatives.
  • Legal Compliance:

    • Stay informed about labor laws and regulations.
    • Ensure the organization's HR practices comply with legal requirements.
  • Strategic HR Planning:

    • Work with senior management to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies.
