Job Description

Requirements:

Strong communication and organizational skills
Provide accurate legal guidance to the executive staff on all matters that affect the company
Manage the compliance, risk management and legal services groups
Knowledge About Labor Law
Master’s Degree in Law required

Responsibilities:

Negotiating with clients to come to an agreement on all terms of employment including salary, benefits, and other compensation

Compiling and reviewing employment policies, handbooks, and manuals to ensure compliance with federal and state laws

Drafting employment contracts, severance agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), arbitration agreements, and other legal documents related to hiring new employees

Communicating with clients to discuss legal matters and prepare them for court proceedings or meetings with opposing counsel

Preparing legal briefs and other written materials related to cases for trial or other proceedings

Conducting investigations to gather evidence for cases, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing documents

Preparing cases for trial by collecting evidence from clients, interviewing witnesses, and researching legal issues

Representing clients in court during trials or hearings by conducting discovery and other activities related to litigation

Drafting settlement agreements and negotiating settlements with opposing counsel on behalf of clients
