Key Parameters:
- Manager – Global Benefits & HR Policies (IS3 or IS4)
- MBA in HR (Tier 1/2 institute)
- 5-6 years of experience in HR role (at least 2 years in benefits program management)
Indicative Responsibilities: (Exact role will be finalized with the selected candidate)
- Subject Matter Expert for global benefits program management and HR policies
- Plan, direct, coordinate, administer, monitor and report benefits including retirement plans, insurances and other benefits of the organization
- Liaise with vendors/brokers to manage benefits
- Ensure benefit plans comply with statute regulations and manage compliance reports
- Prepare benefit budget and manage operations within budget
- Participate in benchmarking survey of benefits from consultants
- Study benefits trends and propose improvement in benefits plan
- Draft and propose new policies/changes basis market benchmarking & industry best practices
- Seek necessary approvals and manage internal communications and penetration of the benefits program to the employees
- Act as point of contact for HR benefits/policies interpretation & clarifications
- Conduct HR policies/benefits induction for new joiners
- Managing end to end global mobility of employees
- On-boarding (local hiring / secondment / deployment)
- Benefits administration
- Registration/deregistration of employees under applicable benefits
- Design and administration of Global Medical Insurance, Accident and Death Insurance from the stage of:
- Research and analysis of per diem/benefits for international travels from the perspective of:
- Cost of living
- Statutory compliances (social security, income tax etc)
- Understanding the geography from the perspective of culture, practices, challenges
Key Competencies:
- Excellent benefits program management and structured thinking skills
- Excellent acumen to understand HR policies
- Proven experience in planning and leading benefits programs
- Proven experience in networking within the industry and collaborating amongst multiple teams/departments
- Excellent presentation skills and able to articulate concepts
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Advanced Excel skills, proficient in MS Word, Access & PowerPoint
- Eye for details and analytical orientation
