Position Summary:
We are looking for a suitable candidate for the position of HR manager for our Global Technical Centre India (GTCI),Bangalore. It’s a design center catering to Indian and Global projects.
It’s a head HR position for the technical center.
The person will be based in Bangalore and will be reporting to head of GTCI.
Key purpose of role:
· Lead, direct and manage the HR and People Management function in the country/operating unit.
· Be responsible for the implementation of the HR and People Management strategies, policies and processes.
· Provides advice in relation to all HR matters as a member of the country/unit management team and ensures all activities are aligned in accordance with the company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
· To provide direction in relation to Human Resource Management and directly support achievement of business strategy within the operating unit/country.
· To develop and to drive the implementation the local HR Strategy in line with the global HR Strategy.
· To support the implementation of People Management strategy in the unit/country.
· To be responsible for the HR business plan and budget in their country/unit.
· To be responsible for all the hiring of new resources to support the ramp up of technical center.
· To be responsible for HR organization design and how work is co -ordinated within HR in their country/unit.
· Coordination for training and development.
· Talent management for all the employees of technical center
· To manage the HR function to implement the policies, processes, principles and plans in their country/unit.
· To act as a HR Partner to the business managers through a relationship that enables you to influence and drive changes and improvements.
· To ensure the country/unit complies with laws, regulations, HR policies and processes and act on discrepancies.
· To ensure implementation of the required HR - agenda and for the alignment with the business agenda in their country/unit.
· To manage the relation with the trade unions and works council including negotiations if applicable.
· To order HR services and requirements based on the business' need.
· To ensure that the HR community in their country/unit understand how their work effects the business outcome.
· To be responsible for staff hiring, training and development, including performance reviews and IDPs for all direct reports if applicable.
· To run their operations according to the company Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the company Quality Management System. If the operation is EHS certified, work according to the company EHS Management System.
Job Requirements:
1. BE with MBA (HR)
2. 10 to 12 years of Experience in HR.
3. Good communication skills and fluent in written and oral English
4. Ability to work in cross-functional and international networks
5. Ability to inspire and influence people
6. Willingness to travel
