Under broad direction, receives, evaluates, and resolves the most complex and difficult escalated issues in the Human Resources Service Center. Responsible for the day to day interpretation, application, and communication of business practices and processes across multiple Human Resources activities. Serves as the foremost subject matter expert for the resolution of most Human Resources administration issues, including providing support for HR Business Partners and acting as the primary liaison between the HR Service Center and the HR Centers of Excellence (COE). Manages a team of HR Service Center staff, which could include interviewing, selecting, hiring/firing, training, evaluating, or apportioning and directing the work of employees, or resolving employee grievances. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of employee records and the accurate and timely completion of personnel actions in the HR Information System (HRIS). Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a similar business field.
