Implementing and ensuring alignment of the Vestas Management systems and processes, ensuring consistency of approach and suitability to IND context

Implement the QSE strategy, policies, processes and initiatives, placing a strong emphasis on competitive advantage and continuous improvement.

Support with the maintaining of QSE systems and management of associated certification audits with Vestas

Support and implement agreed Improvement plan

Preparation of Daily / Weekly / Monthly QHSE Reports

Support the business in the implementation of the Vestas aligned risk framework that is effectively implemented 

Lead risk assessments for all revised work methods that may arise from time to time 

Track and report to key stakeholders on emerging risks and control effectiveness

Sharing of Incident / Alert & Initiatives to CIM team 

Support the CIM team in achieving quality objectives ensuring that cost of poor quality is effectively managed as per processes.

Plan, coordinate, execute and support site inspections throughout the entire CIM activity including offices and warehouses

Review & establish with business preventive/corrective actions

Regular follow up on the actions

Support the establishment and implementation of an effective risk-based assurance program aligned to local risk profile

Track the outcome of assurance tasks ensuring that improvements are captured, implemented and effectiveness monitored

Tools & Equipment Inspection

Ensuring Site specific HSE practices like Permit to Work & Toolbox Talk, LOTO etc.

Organizing Site HSE Induction

Periodical random visit to turbine. WTG Uptower to support the CIM team appropriately and also carry out the HSE inspection/audit on uptower.

Support customer audit/inspections/visits on site or within a specific CIM team 

Support QSE related customer requests & complaint handling on CIM activity 

Periodical QSE performance review meetings with CIM team & local customers

Support and provide SME support to the completion of high-quality safety incident investigations 

Performing trainings for the IMS tool

Periodical follow up new IMS on site or within CIM Team 

Periodical follow up on investigation status on site or within CIM Team Periodical follow up on environment cases

Creating presentations for safety stand downs and toolbox talks

Support business in classification, reporting, investigation process & establishment of preventive corrective actions

Safety Awareness Trainings 

Facilitate regular HSE meetings in all CIM team.

Support to close the cases in Incident Management system (Reporting & CAPA)

Periodical review of work-related risk assessments 

Evaluate in collaboration with employees the right protection level

Collaborate and facilitate the performing of tests in the field to ensure operational compatibility of all current and new PPE, as may be required

Review WI for Safety and Quality compliance

Update PPE catalogue (Matrix)

Ensuring Appropriate PPE's for the Task based on SWI

Periodical follow up safety performance in CIM 

Create meeting structure and agenda for follow up meetings with subcontractors based on IMS and NCR cases.

Drive escalation meetings with sourcing and general management of subcontractors.

Establish with business & subcontractors improvement initiatives 

Preparation of HSE / ERP plan

Deliver training to business of the emergency response plans

Lead and perform emergency response drills

Safe Electrical Work

Implementation of Vestas LOTO rules 

Provide appropriate Info for the management about needed actions relating to changing legislation and associated action

Establish with business mitigation measures Proposals to cover the identified risks/requirements and periodical follow up

Follow up on implementation of needed changes.

Work with training co-ordinator to identify local training requirements

Develop & perform trainings

Support the identification, assessment and follow up of external training providers delivering trainings on behalf of Vestas

Verifying Training Records 

Ensure the Operational sites comply with statutory environmental legislation.

Conducting Environmental Checks and Inspections on site at the required frequency. 

Integrate environmental issues into site inductions, training and ongoing workplace communication procedures.

Ensure site environmental statistics are recorded and available.

Ensuring Chemical Handling & storage

Ensuring proper Housekeeping & 5S (Waste handling)
