HTML/CSS Developer - FinTech Startup

Job Description

Skeps -A blockchain startup with co-founders from IIT and ISB, and early employees of Uber & Ola is looking to hire a strong tech candidate for the role of Customer Success Manager.The startup is backed by Accel Partners, and is building a decentralized marketplace where lenders and debt buyers can initiate and settle transactions that includes buying and selling of credit approved leads and whole loan transactions. It caters to the growing consumer lending space in the USA and other developed countries.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
• Developing an intuitive dashboard for managing the product
• Developing a responsive mobile-ready themed interface for customers
• Integrating the APIs with the backend server and building the front-end of the platform
• Understanding the underlying block-chain architecture and how the APIs have been designed and exposed for consumption
• Optimization of applications for maximum speed
• Developing and maintaining company's website,
• Creation of quality mockups and prototypes
• Ability to use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Staying up to date on emerging technologies
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in designing
• 2+ years of experience in modern Javascript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.
• Must have working knowledge of Angular2 and Above.
• Understanding of web mark-up, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proficient understanding of Cross-Browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Good knowledge of D3.js, C3.js JavaScript and graphing technologies
• Should have good command over front-end frameworks - bootstrap, material design or similar
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/Object Oriented JS, its quirks, and workarounds
• Understanding of UI Componentization and Modularization
• Understanding of Unit testing frameworks like Jasmine/Karma
• Should be comfortable with RESTful web services/ APIs, Ajax implementation
• Should have keen attention for detail and should be obsessed with building a good product
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
  

Advantageous

• Knowledge of SEO principles, SCSS/LESS, Docker, SVG Animations, Angular material, Moment.js would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
