Human Resource Intern
About the position
We are looking for an HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department’s daily activities. HR Intern responsibilities include updating our employee records with new hire information, screening resumes and scheduling interviews. If you’re interested in kickstarting your career in HR and getting a closer look of how our company approaches payroll, recruiting, and employee development, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will assist in organizing and coordinating our HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, or currently enrolled in a degree for HRM or any related field.
Excellent communication skills are needed to be able to work with various candidates, HR staff, and company personnel.
Administrative and organizational skills are also needed as interns may be required to provide administrative support.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for daily task completion.
Strong attentional to detail is required.
The intern should also have a good understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
Work experience in an office environment.
Familiarity with HRIS ( Humann Resources Information System) software.
Good understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
Basic knowledge of Indian labor law and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including excel, word, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities -
Update our internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.
Keep a constantly updated database for everyday tasks.
Gather payroll data like leaves, working hours, and bank accounts.
Screen resumes and application forms.
Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates.
Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages, and social networks.
Prepare HR-related reports as needed (like training budgets by department).
Address employee queries about benefits (like the number of remaining vacation days).
Review and distribute company policies in digital formats or hard copies.
Participate in organizing company events and careers days.
Assisting in preparation for annual audit- ensuring all records are updated, filed correctly, and are easily accessible.
Assisting HR administrator with the posting of birthdays and general HR communications.
Assisting in Scheduling monthly staff meetings, finalizing agenda, and minute taking.
Minute-taking when required.
Qualification -
Any BBA/MBA with good communication skills
